So I decided to digest interesting links on digg for those you that are uneducated in the ways of social browsing. Here are a list of the random / funny / interesting links of the day:
- Why I Got Fired – A series of disastrous pictures (scroll in the small subframe).
- The $0 Bill — A comment on our dear Mr. President’s ability to devalue the dollar.
- Neurology Review — A great 30 minute overview of some interesting frontiers of Neurology. It’s accurate and very understandable to the public. Too bad real clinical neurology is not nearly as interesting…
- Easter Eggs in Pixar Films — An incredible list of Easter Eggs found in Pixar films.
- Color Picking Tools — Ever needed a tool to help you match colors?

It’s too bad not enough people can understand how brilliant these two comics from xkcd are.

I ran across this article on my Digg-infested Google Reader. Interestingly, I think it aptly applies to medical school interviews and residency interviews. There’s something about that intimidating exchange between two human beings that makes life so miserable for thirty minutes.

I saw Freedom Writers today in valiant defiance at the enormous mountain of things I have to do. The movie was awesome… It definitely brought some memories of high school back. I mean my high school wasn’t that bad, and I was definitely sheltered from most of it (other than the homemade napalm in the parking lot and the flying firecrackers lit inside the building). There weren’t too many turf wars between racial groups, but we did have Wars. There were Wars between the high school gang-bangers that I would hear about, like the Great War of 1996 between my high school and the neighboring one. Ok so maybe my high school was kinda like the movie…
Back to reality… Man I wish I had some help…

Has anyone else been following the news reports about the UFO sightings at O’Hare? Maybe they should check their urine… (By the way, each word is a different link.)

Everyone should download the new Firefox! Sorry I’ve been delinquent with posts. Hospital work has been jumping down my throat, and the attending that gives me my final grade thinks I’m an idiot :(.
